Santa and the Train, a fundraiser for the Outer Banks Children’s Museum, was held Wednesday at the Outer Banks Brewing Station. The original Children’s Museum in Kitty Hawk was flooded by Hurricane Sandy and the museum will be closed until January when it reopens in its new location in Buccaneer’s Walk, MP4.5, Kitty Hawk. With twice the floor space and better parking, parents and staff are excited about the new location. The Outer Banks Children’s Museum is based on the idea that children learn through play.
