Crowdsourcing for Not the Answer NC
At the Not the Answer NC meeting on Wednesday evening, Ivy Ingram mentioned the organization had set up a crowd sourcing site to help fund their mission to stop the sale of oil and gas leases off the North Carolina coast.
There was also a unique initiative-the phone jam—that called for individuals to phone political leaders and let them know how Outer Banks residents feel about offshore drilling for oil or gas.
Each politician, according to the plan, would get a phone call from a number of constituents on a specific day. Call times are between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The North Beach Sun asked the folks at Not the Answer NC if they would send us the website for the crowdsourcing and contact information for the politicians so readers who may wish to have their opinion heard instead of writing an email could do so.
Here is the information.
